Job Description – Cyber Security Intern

The candidate will be part of information and cyber security team and the job involves continuous coordination with IT team members and various departments with below job role:

Web Application Security Testing.  Knowledge about BURP Suite, manual and automated SQLi  Bypass filters that detect SQLi, XSS, etc.  Basic Network Infrastructure Testing. Knowledge of tools like Responder, Ettercap, tcpdump, Empire, etc. not just Nmap and Nessus Have good knowledge about PowerShell scripting and AD/DC infrastructure.  Mobile App Testing. De-obfuscation of APK/IPA file Technical assessment of cyber security infrastructure, Advance threat prevention with endpoint detection and response, Identity and access management tools, email security solution. Log analysis and investigations Participate in conducting cyber security controls, business processes at Head office, Report drafting and submission Help IT team members for effective incident response and investigation in case of any event/ incident alert triggered.

The required skill set and competency for this job role is mentioned below:

oKnowledge of technical information and cyber security solutions. oSound technical knowledge of log collection, analysis, preservation, and investigation oWorking knowledge of cyber kill chain, incident response, malware analysis. oSound knowledge of technical threats and vulnerability management. oKnowledge of operating system, network and database security on windows and non-windows platform with its assessment oknowledge and auditing experience on various technical requirements like Data masking, encryption, and data leakage prevention oKnowledge of evaluating configuration hardening requirements/ benchmarks. oTechnically sound with information and cyber incident response, well versed with manual and automatic incident response mechanisms

Skillsets/competency required: - Cyber security certifications like cyber incident response / forensic
